The first of many spectacular meals in Finland.
^ What a spread on my first evening with S&J. Note homemade bilberry pie. Amazing for staining teeth and clothes!
^ Vispipuuro. A deliciously refreshing, light squishy pink ligonberry (?) mousse. Served with a little milk. Deceptively light perhaps!

For years — absolute YEARS — I watched Ruth and Rose and dreamed of visiting their renowned restaurant. It finally happened.
Such good food. Happy, fatty times.

Leaving London-town
I’ve been getting ready to leave wonderful London to return to Wellington, NZ, hence the lack of posts.
I’ll be travelling via southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan and Oz (well, Sydney for a few days) for 2 months, so can’t promise regular updates m’fraid :(
