^ I was intrigued when I saw this gadget on sale ($14.99 down from $19.99!). At first I thought you crack your eggs in there and then it uses solar power or something to scramble your eggs.. ideal for camping perhaps?

But curiosity soon turned into shock and horror when I read the product description:

“Delicious, healthy scrambled eggs are just moments away. Simply open the scrambler, placing the base on the stand. Crack in an egg or two, adding your choice of herbs and seasoning. Drop in the agitator ball, secure the lid and shake. Remove the agitator ball before pouring contents into a frypan or saucepan. Dishwasher safe.”

So all it does is replace a bowl and a fork with $19.99 $14.99 worth of additional effort to shake AND extra fiddly things to wash. Oh, but I can just stick it in the dishwasher so I guess that makes it OK.

You know it’s End of Times when society needs a gadget to scramble eggs.
